主講人簡介：

俞飚教授，中國科學院院士、中國科學院上海有機化學研究所研究員、十四屆全國政協委員、上海中青年知識分子聯誼會會長。本科畢業于北京大學技術物理系(1989)；于中科院上海有機所獲碩士和博士學位(1995)；紐約大學博士后(1996)。歷任中科院上海有機所助理研究員、副研究員、研究員(1999)、副所長(2011-2019)。現任中科院上海有機所研究員、生命小分子調控全國重點實驗室主任，國科大杭高院化學與材料學院院長，兼任中國化學會糖化學專業委員會主任、國際碳水化合物組織中國代表、國際期刊Adv. Carbohydr. Chem. Biol.等編委和《中國化學》副主編等。主要從事聚糖和糖綴合物的化學合成、合成方法學和化學生物學研究，已發表論文300余篇、獲授權專利30余項。曾榮獲國家自然科學獎二等獎、Humboldt Research Award、Roy L. Whistler Award等獎勵。

Brief Introduction of Professor Yu Biao

Professor Yu Biao, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, researcher at the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and president of the Shanghai Young Intellectuals Association. He graduated from the Department of Technical Physics at Peking University in 1989; received his master's and doctoral degrees from the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1995; and was a postdoctoral fellow at New York University in 1996. He has served as an assistant researcher, associate researcher, researcher (1999), and vice director of the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2011-2019). He is currently a researcher at the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, director of the National Key Laboratory of Small Molecule Regulation of Life, dean of the School of Chemistry and Materials Science, Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He also serves as the director of the Carbohydrate Chemistry Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society, the Chinese representative of the International Carbohydrate Organization, and an editorial board member of the international journal Adv. Carbohydr. Chem. Biol. and the deputy editor of "Chinese Journal of Chemistry". His research interests include the chemical synthesis, synthetic methodology, and chemical biology of polysaccharides and glycoconjugates. He has published more than 300 papers and holds more than 30 patents. He has received numerous important awards, including the Second Class Prize of National Natural Science, Humboldt Research Award, Roy L. Whistler Award and etc.
